These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services of A & B Smart Home Solutions ("A&B Smart Home Solutions," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
We provide smart home installation and related services, including security and cameras, home theater, whole-home audio, lighting control, and Wi-Fi/networking, primarily in the Kansas City metro area. Details, availability, and pricing may change.
2. Quotes and estimates
Quotes and estimates are provided in good faith and may be adjusted based on the actual scope of work, site conditions, materials, and manufacturer pricing. A quote is not a binding contract until work is agreed and scheduled.
3. Scheduling and payment
We will confirm appointments with you and communicate any changes. Payment terms are provided at the time of service. You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area and accurate information about your home and needs.
4. Text messaging
In addition to our own smart-home work, A&B Smart Home Solutions operates communications and scheduling services on behalf of local service businesses. Text messages sent under this program are transactional only — appointment and quote confirmations and reminders, and service notifications — and may relate either to work you requested from us or to an appointment you booked with a business we serve. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase or service.
How you opt in: you are enrolled only after you affirmatively agree — for example, by telling the representative you would like text confirmations when you book an appointment by phone, or by checking an SMS consent box on a web form.
Frequency and cost: message frequency varies based on your appointments and interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and help: reply STOP at any time to cancel and you will receive no further messages; reply HELP for help.
Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message consent data is not sold, rented, or shared. Information sharing with the subcontractors and carriers strictly necessary to deliver these messages is permitted. Your use of our text messaging is also governed by our SMS / Messaging Policy and Privacy Policy. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. Manufactured products are covered by their manufacturers' warranties. Except as expressly stated, our services and this website are provided "as is" without other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A&B Smart Home Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
